UPSL Announces Partnership with Cricket Wireless for Texas Conferences
The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Cricket Wireless to provide exclusive offers to UPSL members and help grow the game in Texas.
Beginning this current season, the Texas South, and Texas Central conferences will be renamed the Cricket Wireless Texas South and Cricket Wireless Texas Central conferences. These conferences cover the Houston, San Antonio and Austin markets.
Cricket will also be the title sponsor of the first-ever, Texas State Open Cup hosted by the UPSL. The Texas State Open Cup is slated to take place from December to February.
UPSL Commissioner, Yan Skwara said of the partnership “This partnership is a significant step forward for our clubs and players in the great state of Texas. Cricket Wireless is deeply committed to supporting their local communities and we are proud to join them as they engage with our players across the southern and central regions of Texas.”
The UPSL is made up of an incredibly diverse population of players and communities across the country, including Texas. To further connect with that, the partnership will focus on local communities and supporting the game on a local level. As a result, Cricket Wireless will also be presenting the first-ever UPSL Cricket Community Award, given to the team that exemplifies strong core values and pride in their community.
Through the Cricket Wireless UPSL partnership, UPSL members will be able enjoy exclusive offers like unlimited calls to Mexico and Canada, as wells are no activation fees.

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and occupies the unofficial fourth tier of US Soccer. Across its Premier, Division 1 and Women’s leagues there are more than 400 teams competing nationwide.
